Designers Rule The Fashion Industry

It is the fashion designers that help create billions of pieces of designer clothing articles, shoes, and accessories purchased every year by fashion conscious consumers. Expert fashion designers working for clothing wholesalers and manufacturers create emphatic designs aimed at the mass market. Fashion designers are the ones that create the elegant designs which are whimsical, fun and sometimes silly for people who want some variety in their attire. Often, we see models donning expensive clothes, parading down the popular runways several times a year. These creative fashion designers create excellent clothing and accessories for the categories of men, women, and children. Some established high-end fashion designers design dresses especially for the rich and famous individual clients. Some of the high-fashion designers cater mostly to speciality stores or exclusive clothing department stores. In the days when the former draper had not set up his maison house in Paris, clothing design and the various associated aspects were handled by largely anonymous seamstresses. And, as a result, highly popular and elegant fashion spread from that worn at by the courtiers in royal courts. It can be said that throughout the first half of 20th century AD, just about all of those high fashion stuff originated in Paris, and to a lesser extent from the cities in the UK such as London. During this period in time in the history of fashion, the division between haute couture and ready to wear dresses was not interpreted well or sharply defined. It is the designers who are vested with this power to create their mental outpourings in clothes, and they will continue to influence global fashion trends as they have done throughout the earlier eras. The expert designers create original and suitable garments that follow some well established fashion trends. Most of the fashion designers, however, cater to the needs of apparel manufacturers, thereby creating designs specifically with men, women, and children's fashion needs and requirements in their mind for the mass market. Some of the famous designer brands have a team of individual designers that work under the direction of a designer director or a creative director. As time passed by, the age old tradition of designers sketching out garment designs in place of presenting the completed garments as a whole to the customers began to take roots in the world of fashion. The highly popular western styles were greeted with enthusiasm and were adopted all over the world, and many of the esteemed designers from outside of western countries had made a profound impact on the world of fashion. Currently, modern fashion has been associated with modern tools, and has references to technology, as many leading designers have integrated industrial textiles and modern technology to design their interesting dress collections. On the other hand, mass market designers adapt and copy the trends set by some of the famous names in fashion. Increasingly, many of these modern high-end designers have been turning to mass market retailers in an effort to produce low priced merchandise stuff, and also to broaden their customer base.
